Tuition Policy & Registration

Tuition reserves your child’s weekly lesson time and ensures consistency in scheduling.

Effective Dates: September 7, 2026 – May 21, 2027
Due Date: Tuition is due on the 1st of each month for the upcoming month.

• Annual Registration Fee: $45 (due with first month’s tuition)
• In-Home Monthly Tuition (per student): $215
• In-Studio Monthly Tuition (per student): $145

Calendar & Important Dates

Fall Session: September 7  – December 18, 2026 (14 lessons)

• Labor Day: September 7 (Monday; students’ make-up is August 31, 2026)
• Thanksgiving Break: November 23 – 27 
• Winter Recital Date, Time, and Place TBA 

Spring Session: January 11 – May 21, 2027 (18 lessons)

• January 5: Spring Whitlock Theory Test registration deadline

• January 15: TFMC Junior Festival registration deadline
  
• February 6: Whitlock Theory Test – Texas Wesleyan University
  
• February 27: TFMC Junior Festival – Texas Wesleyan University
  
• Spring Break: March 15 – 19 (no lessons)
  
• Spring Recital – Date and Time TBA – Steinway Piano Gallery
  

Total for the School Year: 32 lessons

Please note:  Make-up lessons are offered at the teacher’s discretion when possible, and do not carry over into the next month.

Festival & Competition Opportunities

Students are invited to participate in the Texas Federation of Music Clubs’ Junior Festival and E Clyde Whitlock Theory Test in February.  Please note that participation requires an entry fee but it is a rewarding and fun opportunity! I encourage students in grade 3 and below to try them at least once!
